St Joseph’s College Laundry, located at Buffalo Road, Ryde operates a laundry that services the needs of many of the private boarding schools in Sydney.
We are seeking to employ a casual laundry attendant to work during the school term periods ideally commencing in February 2024. Further employment may be offered during non-term time, depending on the availability of work.
Previous experience would be desirable but not essential as comprehensive on the job training will be provided. A current driver’s license is required as the role may involve deliver duties from time to time.
Work will generally be from Monday to Friday, hours of work will be negotiated upon interview. Some early morning starts will apply. This position may encounter hot temperatures due to ironing and pressing machines constantly being in operation. The suitable attendant will need to be able to work effectively in this environment.
