As the Workplace Barista at Swyftx, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the office, including a range of activities such as food and beverage services, and event assistance. Sitting within the People and Culture team, you will be joining a friendly, collaborative and high performing team that pride themselves on the level of service that they provide to the business.
Please note that this is a casual role, but work hours will generally be 8am until 12pm, Tuesday, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Some of your key responsibilities in this role will include:
Deliver a friendly and helpful experience to all team members and guests visiting the workplace
Provide a daily food and beverage service to Swyftx team members, including a professional barista service in line with designated timeframes
Clean and maintain the coffee machine (Expobar) and surrounding kitchen spaces, and uphold a safe and presentable environment
Support with ad hoc event preparation, setup, and execution
Ensure groceries and Wednesday lunch are ordered each week, and that office kitchens are fully stocked and refilled daily
Maintain office supplies, stationery, and uniform supplies, highlighting any supply issues to the Head of People and Culture
Support the P&C team and wider business with any ad-hoc tasks
To be successful you will have:
Barista experience with a love for the perfect brew
Experience in a similar role, delivering an exceptional customer experience
Previous experience in food and beverage service, ideally in a hotel or corporate environment
Passionate and customer-focused with a vibrant “can-do” attitude
Detailed-orientated, showing great care and attention within all aspects of work
