Premier Fresh Australia (Premier) is one of Australia's largest fresh produce supply chain companies. Premier provides both its domestic and overseas customers with a single source of supply across a diverse range of fruit and vegetable categories.
We are seeking an experienced Store Person to join our Col Johnson & Co Trading team, to assist with the management of all inbound and outbound activity within the operations.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Coordination of inbound and outbound activities.
Maintaining delivery time slots with customers.
Monitoring traceability of equipment assets.
Maintaining good relationships with transport vendors.
Complete dispatch and receival documentation.
Daily reporting and general administration duties.
Operating a forklift.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
Hours required:
Forklift License essential.
A good understanding of receivals and dispatch processes.
Fresh produce or perishable experience beneficial but not essential.
Demonstrated experience working in a similar role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Operating a forklift (must be confident as operating on public roads around the market).
May require some manual handling
Immediate start if possible.
Opportunity for ongoing permanent employment.
