Position: Pickers & Packers / Production Workers
Location: Clayton, Dandenong, Knoxfield
Job Type: Casual-Ongoing
Shifts : Day and Afternoon
Job Description:
We are currently hiring individuals to join our team as Pickers & Packers and Production Workers. In these roles, you will play a crucial part in our warehouse and manufacturing operations by ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of products and materials.
Key Responsibilities:
For Pickers & Packers:
Receive and process orders from a picking list.
Accurately select products from shelves or storage areas based on order specifications.
Pack orders securely to prevent damage during transportation.
Label and prepare packages for shipment.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Report any inventory discrepancies or damaged products to the supervisor.
Follow safety guidelines and best practices at all times.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets.
Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
For Production Workers:
Operate machinery and equipment as needed for the production process.
Assemble and package products according to production guidelines.
Monitor machinery for any issues and perform basic maintenance tasks.
Inspect finished products for quality and compliance with specifications.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team leaders.
Participate in training and development programs as needed.
Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or similar role is preferred but not required.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Physical stamina to lift and move packages or objects as needed.
Team player with good communication skills.
