Based in Reservoir, HLS is a young, fast growing commercial laundry that services the linen and laundry needs of Victoria's hotel industry. We are a family-owned business that has an unwavering focus on keeping things fun, friendly and fair for our entire team!

Entering OUR busiest time of year and an intake of new hotels, we are looking for new members to join our growing team on a casual basis (20+ hours per week). We are a Monday-Saturday business, with 4-8 hour shifts available between 6am-6pm.

We release our rosters 3 weeks in advance and try to accommodate requests for shift requests where we can (the more staff are available the more requests we can accommodate).
Starting wage $28.64 per hour + Super with regular pay reviews and opportunities to progress into Supervisor positions.
No previous laundry experience is required as we will invest in training and developing you on the different roles and machinery around the laundry.
About the Role
Working closely with our supervisors, and other members of staff you will get exposure across our different departments and add significant value by:
Sorting linen that arrives daily to the laundry.
Learning how to operate the different machinery involved in the washing and finishing process.
Quality checking to identify any linen that is damaged or needs to be re-washed.
Folding and preparing linen ready for dispatch back to our customers.
Helping to maintain the highest standard of linen quality, plant cleanliness, and safety.
About You
You are someone who enjoys physical work, being active and working on your feet.
You enjoy work that involves some repetition because it allows you to develop a routine.
You like to have clear expectations on what you are required to achieve each day to ensure you can be as efficient as possible.
Whilst you have the ability to work autonomously, you value working as part of a team. You enjoy working towards team goals and take the time to assist anyone who needs a helping hand.
Selection Criteria
We don't require candidates to have prior laundry experience, we believe our new team members can come from any industry!. What we are looking for is someone who is:
Comfortable with physical work
Enjoys working to a routine
Friendly and will help team members
Reliable and hardworking.
