About the client:
Founded in 1966, our client is considered Australia’s leading manufacturer of plumbing and smart gardening products, focusing on key areas such as irrigation, lighting, and garden décor. With over 200 employees in Australia, the company currently exports watering products worldwide including the USA & Europe.
Our client seeks to employ experienced and reliable Factory Hand/Labourers for their manufacturing plant based in Stapylton, QLD. Shifts are Mondays to Fridays, 6 am to 2.30 pm, with a casual hourly rate of $31.00 per hour + Super.
About the Role:
Mondays to Fridays, 6 am to 2.30 pm | With a view to permanency
Casual hourly rate of $31.00 per hour + Super
Exposure to plastic/PVC welding is highly regarded but not essential.
Production work – dealing with gardening, irrigation, and plumbing equipment
PVC welding – Low-density polyethylene (LDPE) and high-density polyethylene (HDPE) welding
Factory labouring – PVC bending (long radius), gluing, hand & power tools, and general factory work
On-site training provided.
About You:
Prior exposure to plastic/PVC welding is highly regarded but not essential.
Has a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Can do heavy manual handling.
Can work every day.
Physically fit
