Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to fill the position of Kitchen Cook at La Perla. If you're local or a culinary enthusiast with a love for Italian cuisine and an eagerness to learn, this may be the perfect opportunity for you. Our team is skilled, inclusive, and dedicated to bringing out the true potential of each member while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of regional Italian dishes, with a primary focus on woodfired pizzas.
- Ensure the quality and consistency of food items according to our standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a clean and organised workspace.
- Assist in the development of new menu items and specials.
- Follow food safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Passion for food and a genuine interest in Italian cuisine.
- Culinary skills and a willingness to learn and grow.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Open-mindedness and eagerness to receive training if necessary.
