Nestled beneath the Opera House sails, House Canteen is an all-day hawker-style venue with show stopping views of Sydney Harbour. We are the ideal stop for those on the run, as well as those stopping to take in the view, offering a vibrant pan-asian flavour led journey.
In the mornings, our earlybird patrons enjoy Single O coffees and pastries by BadBoy Bakehouse whilst soaking in the harbour views.
At midday as the city harbour springs to life, our menu transforms into a hawker-style spectacular, brimming with Japanese, Vietnamese and Chinese-inspired flavours into the night.
In the evening our guests at the theatre join us for a pre or post show snack and a delicious cocktail to compliment the views. The venue has a steady flow of patrons each day and our team create a stellar experience to keep people coming back time and time again.
The Role
As Barista, you role will be to prepare and serve coffee & other beverages to our patrons.
Having worked as a Barista for some of Sydney's best cafes or restaurants, you will be equipped to work a high volume coffee station and enjoy creating a high quality brew for our patrons. If you have mastered the skill of latte art and love being creative, this would be an added bonus!
Working with all the best gadgets in our incredible harbourside venue, you will love the atmosphere, the friendly patrons and the fun crew you get to brew with. Not only will your front door be the most beautiful harbour in the world, but you will get to interact with incredible tourists, locals, families and corporates on a daily basis.
