We have multiple warehouse and factory labouring positions available in the Loganlea and Wacol area ready to start. Involves assembly, disassembly & cleaning of parts. May involve some slot punching of product and packing and strapping. You will be giving instruction in use of material handling systems like cranes and lifting trolleys. Pick packing and some forklift operation if and as required.
It Includes keeping work areas clean and tidy and ensuring adherence to all safe work procedures.
This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a highly reputable market leader, very good chance of permanent position for the right person.
This role will start as temporary labour hire (but permanent opportunities may present after a period).
We roster both day (5:00am - 3:00pm) and night (5:00pm - 3:00am) shifts Monday to Friday (Roster is rotational - one week of days and one week of nights).
Casual hourly rate on day shift is $29.04 and night shift is $33.40 PLUS OVERTIME.
To be considered for this work, you will need:
Previous labouring experience (ideally in a factory environment) with two contactable work references
Team player with good work ethic, including reliability and punctual attendance.
Willingness to follow instructions and commitment to working safely.
Appropriate level of physical fitness to undertake a range of manual handling / labouring tasks in this environment (training in safe work procedures will be provided)
Appropriate work wear including steel cap boots, long pants yellow hi-vis long sleeved shirts.
Forklift licence preferable not mandatory
Availability to commence asap at either Loganlea or Wacol.
