The Australian Golf Club is a private member’s club located 6km from the heart of the Sydney CBD. Inaugurated in 1882 The Australian Golf Club holds the honour of being the oldest golf club in the Commonwealth.

The Australian Golf Club is seeking a Casual Cleaner. This person will be an integral part of the maintenance team with the focus on cleaning member use areas and staff facilities.  These facilities include the interior of the golf course maintenance building and member toilet facilities on the golf course. 

 

Suitable applicants for the Grounds person role should hold or the ability to gain:

Knowledge or understanding of the game of golf
Experience working in similar role
Excellent communication skills
 
Schedule

Monday                  5:15am to 8:15am

Tuesday                  12:00pm to 2:00pm

Wednesday            5:15am to 8:15am

Thursday                10:00pm to 2:00pm

Friday                      5:15am to 8:15am

There is an opportunity to increase weekly working hours during busy periods and if a suitable candidate is interested in golf course maintenance work.

Responsibilities
                Cleaning of the Golf Course maintenance building and on course toilets.  There is an opportunity to do some golf course maintenance work for a suitable candidate.
