Casual Warehouse Logistics and Labourer- Catering and Events Industry

Great opportunity to take ownership of the role
GEMA Group is a proudly Australian owned and operated family business that specialise in all things catering, venue and event management. We look after some of Australia's biggest stadiums, airports and major events. Out team is dedicated and hardworking and enjoy a fantastic work life balance.
GEMA Group has recently experienced tremendous growth within the catering and events industry throughout Australia, and as such we are currently in search of an experienced and professional Warehouse Labourer. The role will be based at our Sydney Warehouse facility in Silverwater.
About the role:
Control of incoming and outgoing stock
Coordinate distribution of all goods across multiple event sites. Pick and Packing of event requirements ready for freight
Stock control and analysis of stock variances
Maintenance of equipment, vehicles & assets
Work in a great team environment
About you:
Dynamic, self-starter with willingness to take charge and own it !!
You communicate with care and thought
Demonstrated experience in logistics
Big on details… details, details, details
High level organisation skills and ability to work within deadlines
Awareness of safety and compliance practices
Able to work unsupervised
Must be trust worthy
Daily use of high reach forklift ( must have a fork ticket )
Food deliveries required ( current manual or automatic license )
Cleaning may be required from time to time
