NWEC ( New World Engineering Construction) is a leading Australian steel fabrication, installation, major project and welding resource supply company that has been providing first-class fabrication, major project and resource-providing services to the petrochemical, rail, road, gas, process, mining and heavy industry sectors across Australia for over 26 years.
A full-time Assistant Accountant & Receptionist is required for a medium-sized engineering company located in Villawood.
Essentially you will be responsible for the reception duties as well as accounting support.
This is a varied role that will see you attending to reception tasks as well as assisting with accounting tasks.
Duty & Responsibilities:
- Assisting Accounting Manager with the financial processes and reporting.
- Assisting with invoicing, organizing MYOB, Database (Microsoft Excel & Word), Accounts payable and all other accounting tasks.
- Responsibility for reception work including answering incoming telephone calls & attending to queries.
To be successful the candidate will have:
- Good with MYOB & MS Word, Excel, Outlook
- Good English written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail & accuracy
- An efficient professional manner
- Ability and desire to learn new skills
- Eligible to work full-time basis.
Accounting degree/qualification & work experiences are preferred but not necessary
